Run one Pomodoro session
The Pomodoro Technique alternates 25 minutes of work with a 5-minute break. After four sessions, you take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. During the 25 minutes, you work on one task and write down distractions instead of acting on them. The fixed length makes it easier to start, because the end is already set. The pie shows how much of the session is left, so you do not need to check a clock.

How does the Pomodoro Technique work?
You work for 25 minutes, then take a 5-minute break. After four rounds, you take a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes. Use this timer for the work and the 5 minute timer for the break.
What should I do during a Pomodoro break?
Step away from the task. Stand up, get water, or look out a window. Avoid starting something that is hard to stop, such as a video, because the break ends in five minutes.
